Runny yolk hard-boiled eggs

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs or as many eggs as you want, refrigerated

Directions

  1. Boil water in a medium large to large pan at medium high to high heat.
  2. When the water is boiled, take out eggs from the fridge. Using a big slotted spoon or slotted ladle, not to crack the egg shell, add to the boiling water immediately.
  3. Set the timer to 6 minutes and start. Do not reduce the heat.
  4. Stir eggs gently with the slotted spoon to position the egg yolks in center for 4 minutes. Take caution not to crack the egg shells. Reduce the heat to medium.
  5. In a large bowl, add ice and cold water. Set aside near the pan.
  6. When boiled for 6 minutes, transfer eggs to the bowl of ice water immediately using the slotted spoon.
  7. Let the eggs cool down for at least 3 minutes.
