Yield: 1-2 servings
Ingredients
- 1-2 servings of rice, short grain preferably, cooked
- 6 oz (170 g) pork loin, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp corn starch, mixed with 1 tsp water
- 2 tsp sesame (optional)
- 2 tsp green onion, chopped (optional)
Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sake
- 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/8 tsp granulated garlic
Directions
- In a zip lock bag, mix all the sauce ingredients and add pork. Squeeze the air out and leave it in refrigerator.
- Heat a small frying pan to medium heat and coat with sesame oil. Fry the pork until mostly cooked.
- Add the sauce left in the zip lock bag. Mix in corn starch water. Stir and reduce the sauce.
- Serve the pork over the rice. Sprinkle sesame and garnish green onion if desired.
Note
If desired, freeze the zip lock bag to cook later.
